About Our Offerings

This summer, we will be offering 60-minute, drop-in style classes held in Midtown East, just one block from Bryant Park. These offerings are designed to support you during the early stages of parenthood, with space to slow down, connect, and care for yourself.

Below are our current classes for June and July.

  • This class is a space for parents and babies to slow down, connect, and reset. Together, we’ll explore simple self-care practices that support your well-being while including your baby in the experience.

It’s designed for parents in the early months postpartum who are looking for gentle tools to regulate their nervous systems, bond with their baby, and feel supported in a like-minded community. No prior experience is needed, and babies of all temperaments are welcome.

We’ll move through grounding practices like breathwork, gentle touch, sound, movement, and mindful presence. Each class is meant to help you feel more centered while creating space for meaningful connection with your baby.

  • These circles are a space for new moms to feel seen, supported, and gently guided through the early stages of postpartum. Led by Doula Viv, each gathering offers a different focus, but the thread of self-care runs through them all, with space for open conversation and a Q&A at the end.

Whether you’re a few weeks or a few months into motherhood, you are welcome here with your little one(s). Come as you are, tired, overwhelmed, curious, or just needing a place to land, and leave feeling a little more grounded.

Topics we’ll explore together include postpartum recovery, adjusting to parenthood, self-care, mental and emotional health, sleep, nutrition, mom guilt, hormonal shifts, comparison, setting realistic expectations, and more. These circles are designed to help you feel more resourced, understood, and connected.

Meet Doula Viv

Doula Viv was my postpartum doula, and working with her was a life-changing experience. She supported me through one of the hardest times in my life with care, honesty, and wisdom. Viv believes that when a baby is born, a mother is born too, and that part is often forgotten. She has a gift for supporting moms in vulnerable moments and reminding them they don’t have to feel guilty for doing what feels right for themselves and their baby.

  • Viviana Marcela is a DONA-trained Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Lactation Counselor with over 17 years of experience in her field. She is also trained in Traditional Postpartum Practices and has supported more than 200 families across the Tri-State area.

She became a doula after having her third child in 2008 and realizing how important it is to have real, informed support during the transition into motherhood. Now a mother of five, Viv brings her knowledge, education, and lived experience to the families she serves.

Her approach is direct, honest, and nurturing. She meets each parent where they are, offering realistic guidance without judgment. Her goal is to help parents feel grounded, supported, and confident in themselves.
